Nancy Hicks is an inspirational communicator. She has a passion for Christ and is a herald of His call to life! Through her 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry, Nancy Hicks Live, her mission is to raise up women around the globe by igniting and equipping them by teaching at events and conferences and distributing resources through digital media.
For more than a decade, Nancy was a regular on-air spokesperson for QVC, inspiring millions of viewers to embrace beauty and life. With an Honors Degree in Voice Performance from the University of Toronto, Nancy was also a professional vocalist. Most recently, she earned her Master's of Theology degree from Palmer Seminary of Eastern University.
She and her husband Cam have been married since 1990 and have two flown-the-coop sons, David and Aaron, and one darling daughter in law, Rachel. Nancy enjoys brisk walking, reading, hanging out with friends and family.........AND SPORTING HER BOLD, RED LIPSTICK!
Nancy primarily speaks on four different dimensions of calling.
1. CALL to LIVE
The core calling for all creation. Adam and Eve’s sin separated them from God, the source of Life. God calls each of us—just as He did with Adam and Eve—to return to the life we were meant to live.
2. PERSONAL CALLING
This is a secondary calling that is tailor-made for you. God has given you specific gifts, strengths, skills and resources to use for His Glory. Learn to identify what they are and how to use them for God’s kingdom.
3. CALL to INTIMACY
This is the call-and-response between you and God. How personal is your relationship with Him? Explore how to take this relationship to a new level.
4. CALL to MISSION
This is the missional call on the Church. YOU are the church. This calling is a call to unity, a call to rise up and move out.
